Redmi today announced the release date of the new Note series phones that will succeed the Redmi Note 10 series. The new Redmi Note 11 series will be officially unveiled in China on October 28. Here’s what we know about the upcoming phones so far.

The company also mentions the Note 11 ‘series’, pointing to multiple devices. In typical Redmi fashion, we’re likely to see two or three devices, which again could be the Redmi Note 11, Redmi Note 11 Pro, and maybe a Note 11 Pro Max.

While there is no mention about the devices in the series, we expect the company to reveal a vanilla Redmi Note 11 and the Redmi Note 11 Pro on October 28.

Details about the Redmi Note 11 series are still scarce but the Xiaomisub-brand has teased some details about Note 11 series on Weibo. The bill teased by the company confirms that the Redmi Note 11 will feature speakers by JBL, while you can also see a headphone jack and an IR blaster on the top. 

 

The volume rocker and power button are visible on the right side of the device. A quadrangle-camera setup on the hinder panel with a large detector sitting on the top of the module can also be seen in the bill. 

The Weibo post also shows the phone in greyish green. The phone will be listed onJD.com ahead of its launch.JD.com does have rosters for the Redmi Note 11, Redmi Note 11 Pro, and Redmi Note 11 Pro. This suggests that Xiaomi might be jilting the Pro Max imprinting for the Pro moniker. 

 

This time, the Redmi Note 11’s Pro variant is anticipated to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 920 SoC and could feature a 120Hz OLED screen. Other anticipated specifications grounded on leaks include a mAh battery with 67W or 120W fast charging. 

The regular Note 11 is also anticipated to go for the MediaTek Dimensity 810 chip along with a 120HZ TV screen. It's also anticipated to come with a mAh battery but could feature only 33W fast charging. 

 

While the Redmi Note 11 is anticipated to come in 6GB/ 128 GB and 8GB/ 128 GB variants, the Pro may get an fresh 8GB/ 256 GB variant as well. Further details on the Redmi Note 11 series are anticipated to surface online in the week between now and the launch.
