As you can see in this screenshot, if you can edit group info (so you can change the group icon), you can create a new icon by tapping “Emoji & stickers”. When you use this feature, you can choose the background color of the image and you can easily place a sticker or an emoji. This feature is very useful when you don’t know which icon to assign to the group.
This feature is released for Android beta testers today. Be sure to install the new 2.21.23.15 update to get it.
